Thompson Ahern Earns Partners in Protection Re-certification from Canadian Government
Thompson Ahern is pleased to announce that we have been re-certified as a participant in the Canadian government’s Partners in Protection (PIP) program, a joint government-business initiative designed to enhance border security, combat terrorism and organized crime, increase awareness of compliance issues and detect and prevent smuggling.
Re-certification under the enhanced version of PIP introduced by the CBSA last year exemplifies Thompson Ahern’s ongoing dedication to secure trade processes under which pre-approved carriers, importers and drivers can leverage expedited clearance thereby transforming the compliance obligation into an opportunity to streamline the supply chain.
