TAHOCO Logistics Inc., Thompson Ahern’s American presence, is now
a certified partner in the Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism
(C-TPAT) program — a joint government-business initiative designed to enhance border security, combat terrorism and organized crime, increase awareness of compliance issues and detect and prevent smuggling.
By participating with US Customs and Border Protection in this capacity, we are making a vital contribution to help CBP secure the border and ensure the continued free flow of international trade.
Certification under the C-TPAT program exemplifies Thompson Ahern’s ongoing dedication to secure trade processes under which pre-approved carriers, importers and drivers can leverage expedited clearance thereby transforming the compliance obligation into an opportunity to streamline the supply chain.
