The eManifest initiative is the final phase of the CBSA's Advance Commercial Information (ACI) program. When fully implemented, eManifest will require trade partners in all modes of transportation (air, marine, highway and rail) to submit cargo, crew/passenger, conveyance, secondary and importer data to the CBSA prior to arrival at the border.
This presentation briefly explains the program within the context of today's trade environment, describes the CBSA's implementation timeline for Phase 3 and indicates how Thompson Ahern can play a pivotal role in the management of data and document control.
